Alia migrated from Pakistan 9 years ago with her family in pursuit of safety and security. During these 9 years she has grown tremendously in both personal and professional capacity.
She has helped establish two amazing non for profit organisations including Sisterworks and Australian Hazara Women’s Friendship Network (AHWFN). She has significantly contributed to the welfare and social assimilation of the women in her community.
She has established a successful catering company and a takeaway business in Dandenong called the ‘AMI Food District’. Her traditional Pakistani style biryani has been a hit at the local community and she has introduced the concept of ‘chicken paratha roll’ which has been thoroughly enjoyed by her customers.
Alia takes pride in working hard in order to achieve her goals and is determined to help anyone else who is keen to be successful.
