MINJUMS is a Melbourne-based family business. Founder Minerva Jimenez has leveraged her 15 years’ experience in the food industry pursuing food product development and ingredient technology to develop MINJUMS products.
While searching at the supermarket for healthy snacks for her young daughter, Minerva found that most snacks were high in refined sugars or salt, saturated fats, and contain lots of artificial ingredients. But the options Minerva considered healthy didn’t pass her daughter’s taste test.
With over 12 years’ experience in the food industry and food product development, Minerva turned her expertise to creating a product made from wholesome ingredients that both she and her daughter would enjoy.
Wanting to bring the dietary benefits of wholesome foods into her daughter’s lunch box, she set about creating a product that would help to increase the daily intake of legumes, fruits and vegetables, and at the same time delicious. After countless hours of experimenting, refining and tasting, MINJUMS was born.
Minerva’s daughter absolutely loves the taste of MINJUMS, her daughter eats them as a dessert, and Mum is thrilled that she finally has the wholesome and healthy options that were nowhere to be found on the supermarket shelves.
MINJUMS mission is to promote healthy eating by providing wholesome food choices that are good for the whole family, good for a person’s health and good for the planet.
