Women Victoria promotes gender equality and women’s leadership. We work to change attitudes to prevent family violence and violence against women.
We work on gender equality and women’s leadership by:
- modelling best practice for gender equality in the Victorian public sector
- providing grant funding to the Victorian community to promote gender equality
- running women’s leadership programs to promote the importance of women as leaders
Women Victoria is part of the Office of Prevention and Women’s Equality, a branch in the Department of Health and Human Services. We work with the Minister for and the Ministerial Council on Women’s Equality.
